Aside from the committee name change (which strikes yours truly as a little silly), these seem like pretty good changes.
Hat Tip (v) - the slight movement of the wearer's hat to acknowledge the presence of another. Also, a way to make sure others get credit for the fascinating and funny stuff that gets posted on the internet.
